The OL+RZ/OL-RZ compression tap series allows dry thread machining, without the need for coolant under the following conditions:
- The taro tip is smaller in size than M6
- The thin steel plate had previously chamfered the holes
- The steel part is quite short in length
Optimal coating for thread processing conditions
Completely new tap material HSS-P (high-speed steel made with nanotechnology)
Thanks to being made of new materials and optimal coatings, it is capable of processing steel and stainless steel

The cutting speed when machining is output as follows:

Low carbon steel: Vc = 15~30 (m/min)
Medium carbon steel: Vc = 15~30 (m/min)
Alloy steel: Vc = 15~25 (m/min)
Stainless steel Vc = 10~25 (m/min)
